The opposition National Democratic Congress held its 9th National Delegates Conference at Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair – La to elect its new national officers.

The election which lasted for 48 hours, elected new executives to lead the party at the national level ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Over 16 hours of voting and several hours of sorting and counting, results indicated that Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Joshua Akamba will lead the National Democratic Congress for the next four years as Chairman, General Secretary and National Organiser, respectively.
