Appiah stadium took a cue from Mahama – NPP communicator reacts to attack on Methodist Bishop

Communication Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Haruna Amalibah has clapped back at members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), attacking Appiah Stadium for calling out the clergy for their hypocrisy.

In a confrontation which was captured on camera, Appiah Stadium, an NDC communicator was seen engaging Reverend Professor Emmanuel Asante at a funeral in the Ashanti Region.

In what initially appeared to be the exchange of pleasantries, Appiah Stadium queried the Reverend Minister over what he describes as the clergy’s “silence on national issues under President Akufo-Addo, unlike it happened under his boss, John Mahama.”

The exchanges became heated with Appiah Stadium asking the man of God: “Are you sure you are not a hypocrite?” He also told Rev Prof Asante that God would, one day, question him on his silence, to which the cleric retorted: “God will judge you more than me”, adding: “He [God] will cut your head”.

Appiah Stadium would have the last word, responding: “He [God] will cut your stomach; liar!”

Defending the actions of Appiah Stadium, he [Haruna Amalibah] described them as patriotic and not insulting.

In a panel discussion on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ political talk show with Don Kwabena Prah, he termed NPP faithful calling Appiah Stadium disrespectful hypocrites. “We were all here when Chairman Freddy Blay insulted Togbe Afede and did they condemn his actions? We have seen the NPP ridicule Fantes and heard Ursula Owusu say former President Mahama and Speaker Bagbin would’ve been herding cattle in the North had it not been for free SHS.”

He posited the NDC will not take any lessons on morality from the NPP, referring to the party as a brothel with respect to words of wisdom. “The NDC will not take moral lessons from the NPP when it comes to insults. They disrespect everyone but the NDC is not discriminatory. We don’t and will not take any advice from a brothel.”
