The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has withdrawn Nurein Shiabu Migyimah as its parliamentary candidate for Assin Central following his conviction for immoral behavior and anti-party activities.
The statement noted that, after complaints were lodged against him, the NDC’s Central Regional Functional Executive Committee conducted thorough investigations and discussions, leading to the immediate withdrawal of his candidacy.
A letter from the Regional Functional Executive Committee, addressed to the Assin Central NDC chairman, stated that Nurein Shiabu Migyimah will be suspended for six months while the Regional Disciplinary Committee reviews the matter.
