Flagbearer and Leader of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the Next NPP administration will introduce citizen and business friendly flat rate tax system.
According to him, the flat rate tax system will help businesses to pay their taxes in an easy way.
Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch in Takoradi, he explained that the policy will simplify tax administration to provide taxpayers with visibility into their tax obligations.
He also said tax amnesty will be granted to industries to enable them expand their business and employ more people to boost the economy.
The next NPP administration, he said will provide support to the private sector by cutting 3% of GDP from government expenditure.
