Nii Tettey Ofro Osro I, Chief of La Leshie in the the La Dade-Kotopon Municipality has donated 3,000 exercise books and pens to the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Education Office.
The donation is part of the Chief’s policy and initiative to support the growth of education in the Municipality.
Madam Habiba Kotokmah, the Municipal Director of Education at La Dade-Kotopon who received the donation on behalf of the Municipality thanked the Chief for the kind gesture adding that the items would be put to good use.
“These stationery provided would go a long way to ease the burden on some parents who don’t have the means to provide stationaries to their wards.”
Madam Habiba also used the opportunity to appeal to the Chief to assist them with classroom chairs.
