Renowned Marriage Counselor, Mrs. Ellen Gyamerah Ako has cautioned couples to always keep third parties out of their financial matters.
She stated that couples should be aware of the teamwork that is found in a marriage and should rather be willing to help one another especially in the context of taking care of their children. As parents, they are responsible for the psychological, emotional, physical and financial needs of the children. She mentioned that “There is no need for the children to know who provides for the household; they don’t need it.”
As a couple, your job as parents is to provide for the children; they don’t have to know who makes provision and who does not.”She revealed this while speaking on the counseling session of the 2023 Happy FM mass wedding.
“It does not matter who pays the fees of your children;whether the man or the woman all that matters is that the fees have been paid; as a couple you have joined to become one,therefore you work together as one.” She noted.
