The Executive Director and Head of Global Research at Global InfoAnalytics, Musah Dankwah has explained that, both field and telephone survey indicate that, there would be no run off in the December 7th elections.

““None of the polls so far has shown a runoff, whether in the field survey or the telephone survey”.

According to him, the survey showed that, there would be no significant difference in voting, as first time voters will not play a significant role in the elections.

“If it has to be neck- and – neck, then first- time voters would need to swing heavily toward Bawumia to compensate for the losses”.

He added that, the polls showed that, “Those who voted for President Akufo- Addo in 2020 have a higher percentage of voting for Mr. Mahama in 2024.

Mr. Dankwah mentioned that, the New Patriotic Party’s presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would have to break even to win twenty – Five (25) percentage of votes, from voters who have had a change of mind in voting for the NPP in the December 7th elections.
