The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that it will launch its 2024 election manifesto on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Takoradi, Western Region.

Speaking to the media ahead of the event, Western Regional Secretary of the party, Okatakyie Amankwah Afrifa, highlighted the significance of the launch taking place in the same region where Dr. Bawumia was unveiled as the Vice President in 2008.

He noted that the party is set to unveil its vision and solutions to address the nation’s challenges, stressing the importance of the event.

He added that the Western Region has a history of being the starting point for positive developments in Ghana, expressing confidence that this launch will bring hope to everyone in the country.

Okatakyie Amankwah Afrifa also highlighted several key policies that Ghanaians should anticipate ahead of the manifesto launch.

He mentioned that there will be no tax on digital transactions, meaning the E-levy will be abolished, the betting tax will be removed, and a flat rate tax for businesses will be introduced.
