The Tema West Constituency witnessed heightened tensions today as a misunderstanding erupted over the inclusion of a delegate whose name was reportedly missing from the delegates’ album.

The incident resulted in confrontations among concerned parties, prompting swift intervention from the police to restore order.

The dispute unfolded at a voting center in the constituency, where delegates had gathered to participate in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries.

Reports gathered by happyghana.com indicate that a delegate discovered their name was not listed in the official delegates’ album, leading to confusion and discontent among those present.

The Police intervened in a timely manner as clashes and tempers erupted as the situation worsened. The police presence separated the disputing groups and helped to defuse tensions.

In an effort to address the issue and allow the electoral process to proceed smoothly, the delegate in question was excused from the voting center to resolve the matter away from the immediate vicinity.
