A Presidential Staffer, Alex Martey will be leading the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ningo-Prampram constituency.
Alex Martey, with the Operations Directorate at the Jubilee House garnered 269 votes at the just ended parliamentary primaries whiles Rita Addotey had 207 votes. Total vote cast is 478 with 2 spoilt ballots.
Martey on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show promised to deliver the Ningo-Prampram constituency seat for the NPP.
The NPP today conducted parliamentary primaries in 104 constituencies as part of steps the NPP is taking to win some of its seats in the 2020 general elections.
The party will at a later date organise parliamentary primaries in the 169 constituencies where it already has sitting MPs.
