The Presidential Elections Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled a balloting exercise for the party’s presidential aspirants on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.

The exercise, which is set to begin at 11:00 a.m., will determine the positions of the aspirants on the ballot paper for the upcoming January 31, 2026, Presidential Primary.

In an official invitation signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the aspirants were congratulated on successfully completing the vetting process.

The letter emphasized the Committee’s commitment to ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the electoral process.

“We kindly request your confirmation of receipt of this invitation. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned,” the letter stated.

The notice was copied to the General Secretary, the Acting National Chairman, and the Chairman of the Presidential Elections Committee.

The invitation was extended to the five aspirants cleared to contest in the NPP presidential primary:
Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Ken Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum
