The main opposition National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress has alleged that the governing New Patriotic Party’s quest to tax almost everything has led to the party charging two Cedis on personalities at the Kotoka International Airport(KIA).
Kofi Adams says after the management of the terminal charge the cars at the parking lot money now the individuals  who throng the terminal are now being charged two Cedis too.
The NPP is taking the people walking around the airport money so now if you have a car you pay and pay for yourself too.
This is how hardships have been entrenched under Nana Addo and his NPP administration.
Mr. Adams made this allegation on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra Happy FM.
He explained that NPP taking moneys from the airport visitors when the developments at terminal were developments they came to meet.
All the developments and beautifications at KIA was done by the NDC led by ex-president Mahama but the NPP is now charging onlookers money he added.
The NPP’s resolve to increasing market tolls when the party(NDC) that constructed the facility gave it out for free to the market women he said.
Now they are taking moneys from innocent people loitering around airport he said
He claimed that the NPP’s decision to tax everything has led to people begging at places they are not suppose to beg in the country.
