Obenfo Nana Kwasi Gyetuah, Executive Director of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), has been appointed as a board member of the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA).

He joins the board as the official representative for private education providers.

His inclusion is a significant milestone, reflecting the growing recognition of private schools’ role in Ghana’s education landscape serving nearly a third of the country’s basic school population. With a wealth of experience in educational leadership and advocacy, Mr. Gyetuah is expected to provide strategic insights that bridge the gap between private institutions and national education standards.

In this role, he’ll focus on:

– Ensuring fair quality assurance processes for private schools.

– Advocating for inclusive and equitable education policies.

– Supporting improvements in private school infrastructure and learning outcomes.

This appointment is seen as a progressive step toward stronger collaboration between public regulatory bodies and private education stakeholders.
