Demonstrators of the OccupyBOG protest have faced off with after the proposed route beyond 2nd Image leading to Rockzy Cinema was unexpectedly blocked.

The roadblock, a decision communicated by the Ghana Police Service yesterday, led to a confrontation between protestors and law enforcement officers, with protestors expressing their discontent in a vocal manner.

The Ghana Police Service had earlier issued a directive diverting the planned #OccupyBoG route, instructing protestors to follow the Castle road leading to the Ridge roundabout, which then proceeds through to Parliament and the Accra Sports Stadium. This decision was made in a bid to ensure the safety and security of all participants and prevent any potential disruptions.
