Omanhene of Suma demands government action on deteriorating roads

The Omanhene of Suma Traditional Council, Odeneho Dr. Afram Brempong III has expressed disappointment in the Akufo Addo government over what her terms complete neglect of roads that link Jaman North District in the Bono region to other districts in the region.

Speaking at the Sumbgɛɛ festival, Odeneho Dr Afram Brempong III noted that all roads within the Jaman North District have been deplorable for years yet no government has shown commitment towards repairing them. The situation he says has been hindering the development of the District.

He bemoaned the poor state of all roads leading to the Jaman North District and called on the government to initiate its construction to enhance transportation and development.

The member of Parliament for the Banda constituency Ahmed Ibrahim, called for peace and unity in Sampa and its surrounding communities emphasizing that lack of peace and unity will hinder the development and growth of the District.
