President John Mahama has applauded the efforts of the government-backed anti-corruption body, Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), for its dedication and high-level professionalism in identifying and documenting corruption allegations in Ghana.

On Monday, January 10, 2025, the ORAL team presented its first official report to President Mahama at the Jubilee House.

In a public address, President Mahama highlighted that the anti-corruption program had been a key initiative from the start of his administration, aimed at combating corruption, financial malfeasance, and the misappropriation of public resources.

He stated that the report will not only promote transparency but also ensure that, “what had been wrongfully taken from the state is restored to its rightful owners—the Ghanaian people.”

The five-member anti-corruption team received commendation from President Mahama, who has directed an immediate investigation into the findings outlined in the report.
