Deputy National General Secretary and the aspiring General Secretary of the main opposition party NDC, Mr. Koku Anyidoho has labeled the just ended National Delegate’s Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as very ‘disgusting’.
Saturday, July 7, 2018 saw about 6,000 members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) at their National Delegate’s Conference, held on the campus of the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region where their national executives were elected.
The two part conference which was held in pursuant to Article 10 (2) and (3) of the constitution of the New Patriotic Party saw an opulence display of power for just an internal election of the party. What a colorful parade of posters and billboards of delegates. This Koku Anyidoho has referred to as very ‘disgusting’.
Speaking to Happy FM’s ‘Epahoa Daben Show’, Mr. Anyidoho said “That is why the representative from the Conservative Party in the UK, John Hayward at the conference in his speech said he (John Hayward) can see more posters and billboards than delegates”.
The tough-talking politician assured that the general elections of the National Democratic Congress will not be “like that of the NPP.”
