The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has announced that the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic will commence later this month.
A notice issued by the Office of the Speaker in Accra on Monday, May 4, 2026, stated that Parliament will reconvene on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Parliament House.
The announcement was made in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
The notice serves as official communication to Members of Parliament and other stakeholders ahead of the resumption of parliamentary business.
The upcoming meeting is expected to enable the House to continue deliberations on key legislative matters and issues of national importance.
