The Accra Circuit Court will today, January 27, 2025 hear the case of the second Preacher, Wisdom Ahli who was involved in damaging vehicles at Parliament.

The trial Judge Samuel Bright Acquah who was supposed to hear the case adjourned the case to today Monday January 27, 2025 in their last sitting.

On December 20, 2024, the Accra Circuit Court presided over by Samuel Bright Acquah sentenced Wisdom Ahli’s accomplice, Kofi Okyere Sorkpa to five years in prison for causing damage to five vehicles in Parliament.

The case of the second accused is still under investigation because the charge levelled against him seems to be incomplete while he remains in Police custody.

The Prosecutor, Augustine Yirenkyi, superintendent of Police told the court during their last hearing that Ahli and his accomplice maneuvered their way into Parliament on December 18, 2024.

He further revealed to the court that Kofi Okyere Sorkpa removed hand chisel from his bag and caused damage to five vehicles in Parliament while Wisdom Ahli was allegedly seen hailing Sorkpa for destroying the vehicles.
