Majority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has said that any attempts for the NPP Caucus to occupy Minority seats as declared by the speaker will be a bad omen.
According to him, taking that decision will bind them spiritually ahead of the 2024 general elections.
He added that despite the speaker’s declaration of the four seats vacants the NPP Parliamentary caucus still remains the majority.
Speaking to the media after the supreme court postponed Judgement on the matter, the majority leader said they will not occupy that position unless the after the supreme Court’s judgement.
“I will never go and sit at the minority side neither will my members do that, is that my seat?, he asked
