Rev. Nyansa Boakwa, host of Ghana’s number one socio-religious show, NsemPii, has disclosed it is impossible for prayer to stop anyone from masturbating.
According to him, a lot of people suffering from masturbation tend to turn to prayer as a solution, whereas the challenge cannot be solved with prayer.
He noted that, the practice is a learnt behavior which has a psychological effect on the individual.
“This becomes a habit so to unlearn this habit you have to go through a process to clear it psychologically because it is a psychological problem,” he shared.
He furthered that, the only way for one to free themselves from masturbation is to go through psychology therapy. “Anyone who tells you prayer can solve masturbation is a liar. You need psycho therapy not prayers,” he emphasized.
He however warned that, the process is not an easy one and victims will need close to 6 or 7 sessions to completely solve it hence, they should stop praying and and seek psychological care before it gets out of hand.
