In a move to ensure transparency and citizen engagement in governance, the Presidency Communications Office will begin, “ The Government Accountability Series” on Monday, July 14, 2025.
The initiative, designed to offer a candid review of government performance, will feature key sector ministers presenting Mid-Year updates on their ministries’ achievements and challenges over the last six months.
The series will air three times a week every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11 a.m.
According to Hon. Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, Presidential Spokesperson and Minister of State for Government Communications, the series underscores the Presidency’s commitment to open governance and direct communication with the public.
“This platform gives Ghanaians the chance to hear directly from those steering national development. It’s about accountability, responsiveness, and creating space for honest reflection”.
Leading the inaugural session will be the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, whose presentation is expected to delve into matters of internal security, policing reforms, and civil administration.
