The Director of the Prisons School in charge of Human Resources, Alhaji Issaku Yahaya, has announced that the next phase of the Ghana Prisons Service 2025/2026 recruitment process will be conducted online.
Speaking to the media at the end of the second phase of the recruitment exercise, body selection and documentation, today, January 21, Alhaji Yahaya said the process, which began on Monday, January 19, had been smooth and successful nationwide.
He explained that the screening exercise was organised in two sessions, morning and afternoon, with each session accommodating about 400 potential recruits across the various screening centres.
According to him, the next stage of the recruitment process, the aptitude test, will be administered online.
Prospective recruits will be provided with a link to access and answer the test questions within a specified time frame, at their own convenience.
Alhaji Yahaya noted that the decision to conduct the aptitude test online is aimed at ensuring a more efficient and seamless process, compared to previous arrangements where applicants were required to converge at schools and other designated centres to write the test.
