Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), celebrated her birthday, donating food items and cash to the Nyohini Children’s Home in Yipala, Tamale.

The items included bags of rice, cooking oil, biscuits, soft drinks, toiletries, and GHC10,000 to support the orphanage.

While on her campaign tour of the Northern Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang encouraged the orphanage’s managers to continue their dedicated care for the children and assured them of her support.

The manager of the Nyohini Children’s Home applauded Prof. Opoku- Agyemang for the donation and wished her well as she celebrates her birthday.

She also urged others to learn from the kind gesture of the vice presidential candidate of the NDC.

As part of the birthday celebration, a similar donation was done on Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s behalf in the Central Region.
