The chief of Anum-Asamankese and principal member of the Odoi Kese Family at Obosomase, Osabarima Essah Kwasi Mensah Bediako III, has dared the Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover to restore the damage caused on Dodowa lands or face them at the Law court.

According to him, the family of Obosomase and other private investors are worried by the demolition action taken by Titus Glover together with other security personnel and consider it as unlawful.

He added that after the demolition of a wall protecting four acres of land, five tons of iron rods, thousands of cement blocks and poly tanks were taken away. About two hundred cattle that were grazing on the land cannot also not be found

Osabarima Essah Bediako also indicated that the land that the Minister was talking about is not part of the Dodowa forest neither does it belong to the state because most of the Land at Dodowa belongs to the Odoi Kese Family with documentation and court declaration to that effect.

” Mr Titus Glover had a press conference two days before the demolition for owners of lands at Dodowa to provide documents to claim ownership of those lands and just before the family decided to provide their documents to Accra Regional Minister, the properties on the family land that has been given to a private developer were demolished without any order from the court”.

This demolition could have been prevented if Titus Glover had done this in a lawful manner.
