A 27-year-old satellite installer, Emmanuel Bonsu, has been remanded in police custody by the Asante Akropong Circuit Court in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District for allegedly defiling three young girls.
Bonsu, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, is set to reappear before the court on June 17.
The prosecution, led by Police Chief Inspector Evans Ayimbisah, revealed to the court that the incidents took place in Atwima Agogo between November 2024 and April 2025.
The first victim, a 14-year-old girl, was allegedly attacked while washing clothes outside her home.
The accused who was passing by at that time persuaded the girl into an uncompleted building and threatened her with a screw driver ordering her to touch his nipples.
He forcibly defiled her and run away after the incident, leaving the girl bleeding.
The second victim, a 15-year-old senior high school student, was reportedly assaulted after being dragged into an uncompleted building.
The third victim, an 11-year-old, was allegedly abused while running an errand.
Following complaints from the victims’ mothers, the Abuakwa police arrested Bonsu on May 16, and an identification parade confirmed him as the suspect.
Despite denying the allegations, further investigations led to him being charged.
The case continues to unfold as authorities seek justice for the victims.
