Story By: Joel Eshun

Conveners of the #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration have announced that the second exercise in Kumasi has been put on hold.

A second demonstration by #SaveGhanaFootball group was set to take place in Kumasi on Friday, February 23, 2023, after the first one that was held in Accra on February 14, 2023.

According to the group, the decision is to make way for a meeting with the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.

“We decided to demonstrate for things to change and the petition we sent had a portion for the GFA and if they want to meet, we can’t ignore them to still demonstrate without hearing what they have to say.”

“If we don’t go and listen to them, it would seem like we only want to demonstrate for our own agenda but the overall motive behind this is for Ghana football to be better,” Veronica Commey, a convener of the #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration told Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy Sports.
