The Director of Creative Arts at the National Commission on Culture (NCC), Mr. Socrate Safo has described Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale as a law-abiding citizen even though he is said to have missed court proceedings involving co-musician, Stonebwoy.

Mr.Safo was speaking as a panelist on the “Showbiz Xtra” show with Dr.Cann on Happy FM.

“I know Shatta Wale when it comes to law. I can recall the case he had with Charter House in court. He was always willing to go to court but his lawyer stopped him from appearing in court. Shatta Wale would never disrespect the court”, he said.

According to him, there were many reasons why people miss court proceedings and confusion about dates to appear in court was a major reason. He, thus believed that Shatta Wale could have missed court proceedings because of confusion of court dates.

Shatta Wale is said to have received a firm warning of his arrest from the court following his default in honouring court proceedings between himself and dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy.
