The training which will focus on women is to encourage more Ghanaian women acquire more knowledge in the use of ICT.  It will train women entrepreneurs on digital literacy skills that will help them grow a sustainable business.
According to the Training Coordinator at SkillGator, Ms Jessica Robertson, “Statistical evidence has shown that in most African countries, women’s use and knowledge of ICT is lower than that of their male counterparts. Thereby, denying them of income generating opportunities and the chance to build their networks”.
She indicated that a solution to the problem has been the use of technology and the Internet to expand the business reach beyond their immediate community, thereby giving their businesses new opportunities for growth.

And encouraged all women especially entrepreneurs to participate.
