Stationery vendors warned against defrauding customers

Rev. Kennedy Okosun, Chairman of Krif Ghana Ltd, operator of the stationery depot has warned office equipment vendors to desist from selling sub-standard items to their customers.
This, according to him, will help to ensure that customers get value for money for the products and services they pay for.
“A lot of vendors engage in profiteering, defrauding the innocent customer by going to China to connive with manufacturers to produce sub-standard items, with the hope that when these items malfunction, the customers come back to buy again- therein lies their ill-conceived objective to defraud and profiteer at the expense of the innocent customer,” Rev. Okosun noted.
Speaking at a workshop and product exhibition organized by Krif Ghana Ltd at the British Council in Accra last Wednesday, Rev. Okosun said vendors must improve upon the quality of service they provide as well as the products they sell.
The workshop and product exhibition was on the theme, “Quality that Rewards the Customer”, a concept developed to help build confidence between the service provider and the customer.
“As customer-centric organization, we must attend timeously to the concerns of the customer. We must jump at the opportunity in such circumstances to fine-tune and improve upon our service delivery and products.”
In addition, the Chairman believes that organizations need to provide solution to the problems and needs of their customers.
“…We are not traders, we are not vendors, we are solution providers in putting at the disposal of our customers, stakeholders and the general public, products and services that they directly benefit from, products and services that enhance the performance of their work, get them to do their work conveniently, producing optimum performance.”
Rev. Okosun is convinced that for a business to grow, it must continue to do the right things constantly and consistently.
In a related development, Krif Ghana has launched the ‘Half Price’ promotion on office equipment for all its customers.
The promotion, which seeks to reward its customers will run from the 16th to 30th April, 2018.
Among other things, it is also expected to showcase to the public, the arrival of new office equipment at the various Krif shops nationwide.
This means that for every item that a customer buys, he or she has to pay only half the price.
Krif Ghana are leaders in the supply of money counting machines, laminators, digital cash boxes, cash registers, fire proof safes, printing calculators and shredders.
