Suhum Roman Park set for to be commissioned today

Excitement is mounting in Suhum, a district in the Eastern Region of Ghana eagerly awaits the official commissioning of the new Suhum Roman Park, set to take place later today 24 November 2023 at 3pm.

The event, spearheaded by Suhum’s Member of Parliament, Honorable Obouafou Kwadwo Asante, promises to be a landmark moment in the community’s sports history.

Distinguished guests, including the Sports Minister, Honorable Bryan Acheampong, and the Regional Minister, are slated to attend, alongside local chiefs, infusing traditional significance into the proceedings.

Anticipation is palpable as the invited guests are expected to commend the initiative during their addresses, highlighting the crucial role of sports in promoting unity and well-being. 

The day’s festivities are set to reach a climax with a spirited football match scheduled for 3 pm, providing a firsthand showcase of the new field’s capabilities. 

Local teams are gearing up to enthusiastically participate, embodying the community’s deep-rooted passion for the sport.

The venue, Suhum Roman Park, is poised to dazzle attendees with its modern amenities and pristine playing surface, leaving an indelible impression on all present. The facility is expected to become a central hub for sports enthusiasts, promising a vibrant future for football in Suhum.

As the town eagerly counts down the hours, today’s inauguration is poised to be a celebration of a long-cherished dream, heralding a new era for Suhum’s sporting aspirations.
