Four suspected armed robbers stormed the Adabraka market today, November 2, 2024 attacking a man in his private car.

The four masked men who were heavily armed attacked a Toyota car that was packed close to the market and took away sacks of money from the car into their own and fled.

During the attack, the suspected robbers fired gunshots to drive people who were around away to carry out their mission.

According to eyewitness, the designated area in which the robbery took place are surrounded with gold dealers.

So when one of the gold dealers whose car was containing bags of money arrived at the market, the robbers approached the car and took the money and loaded it into their Toyota Highlander.

“They were still firing gunshots to scare the people around whiles the operation was being carried out, they also spread some of the money in the air to distract the people around”.

“Even though the police intervened it was too late, this is not the first time such incident had happened, he added.

The daylight robbery was recorded by some people around and shared on social media to raise awareness.
