Head coach for Tamale Super ladies, Osman Mohammed has said that he was very happy upon hearing he had been nominated for NASCO Coach of the Month of March award in the ongoing 2022/23 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

Osman Mohammed was nominated for his side’s(Tamale Super ladies) impressive performance in March as he led the debutants to two wins, and one draw and guided them to the 7th position in the League table.

Speaking in an interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports, coach Osman Mohammed said, ” The feeling is great and I feel good because as a young coach, being able to bag a nomination at the NASCO level, it is a very good call for me to try and punch above my weight. I didn’t perform in the first round of the season but in the second, I was able to amass lots of points”.

“The other coaches nominated also deserve the award because they are senior coaches but I’m optimistic I can carry the award on the day,” he told Joe Debrah.

Three Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Coaches have been nominated for the NASCO Coach of the Month for March Award.

They include Yussif Basigi of Hasaacas Ladies, Osman Mohammed of Tamale Super Ladies, and Tamimu Adam of Pearl Pia Ladies.

The winner of the award is expected to be announced in the next edition of the GFA News on Friday.

The winner will receive a 43-inch NASCO Television set from Electroland Ghana Limited.
