There was near confrontation between members of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) and members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Tema station on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
During Happy FM’s ‘Happy on Wheels’ community connect, members gathered at the Tema station in the Klottey Korle Constituency where Epa Hoa Daben show was broadcasted to enable members of the constituency share their views on happenings in the constituency.
A trader at the Tema station, also an NPP delegate in the constituency, Ohene Kennedy, stated that the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Dr. Zenator Agyeman Rawlings, has held the seat for eight years without any significant development projects to show for it.
This statement provoked members of the NDC present, who argued that the MCE, from the ruling government benefiting from the government’s common fund, has also not initiated any notable projects, suggesting he should refrain from criticizing the MP.
