Fears of Ghanaians that Asamoah Gyan won’t be available for Sunday’s crunch quarter-final duel between the Black Stars and DR Congo, have been largely allayed as he is seen training with the team ahead of the encounter
Ghana’s captain and talisman, Gyan, hobbled off the pitch crocked in the Black Stars 0-1 loss to the Pharaohs of Egypt last Wednesday but treatment from Serbian traditional healer Mariana Kovacevic.
Ghana is expected to shrug away DR Congo and go on to the semi-final, something that hasn’t eluded the West African football giants since 2008.
