The Office of the Special Prosecutor headed by Kissi Agyabeng, has emphatically refused accusations of raiding the house of Former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.

This comes after circulated reports indicated that the house of the former finance minister was raided by personnel from the OSP on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Speaking in a press briefing on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the Special Prosecutor denied having anything to do with the raid that happened in the former finance minister’s house.

“I do not intend to go into details here in respect to our intelligence as to what we intend to do but the way it was carried out and the way the media reportage, the way immediately the OSP was linked to it all of a sudden and it is the OSP having some vendetta against him is why we’re doing this” he explained.

“We did not carry out the raid and this is coming a day after the lawyers had informed us and given us some purported medical letter and our checks and intelligence quickly shows us that it is either staged or it is an imposter action and it’s not coming from us so why are we then being blackened for it?” he asked.

Kissi Agyabeng believes that, there is something untoward going on and believes it is time they declared Mr. Ofori Atta a fugitive.
