Controversial Ghanaian marriage guidance counsellor, Counsellor Lutterodt, has reiterated that the sweetest thing on Earth is a lie because it is the only thing you say that keeps you going in life.

Talking about whether lies sustain or destroy marriages with host, Adwen-The Love Doctor on eTV Ghana’s ‘In Bed With Adwen’, he explained his statement saying that every lie comes with consequences so if you decide to tell a lie, then you prepare yourself for it’s repercussions.

He said, ‘’What causes problems is that people lie but they tend to forget how to handle it’s consequences. Lies should be protected but the truth is something that when you say, you do not have to protect’’.

Counsellor Lutterodt however clarified that he does not agree to or deny the fact that lies are good, but basically, lies are a part of life and the truth gives peace of mind so he thus advised, ‘’If you do not have the heart and mind to protect or defend a lie, refrain from it’’.
