The Tema Motorway Roundabout phase II will reduce traffic congestion from Tema Port to other parts of the country- Asenso Boakye

Minister for Roads and Highways, Francis Asenso Boakye has reiterated government’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure.

Speaking during the commissioning of the Tema Motorway Roundabout Phase II project, the Roads Minister commended the transformational progress of the project.

According to him, the project, highlights the government’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure development.

“This highlight the government’s commitment to enhancing road infrastructure across the country and ensuring better connectivity and fostering economic growth and development”.

He mentioned that, the Tema Motorway Roundabout phase II commissioning would improve economic growth and the free flow of goods and services from the Tema Port to other parts of the countries.

“The Tema intersection has been a critical real challenging component of our national road architecture serving as the gateway to traffic from Accra to Tema port and other parts of the country”.

He added, “this project will not only ensure the movement of people but also the free flow of goods and services essential to economic growth.”

Mr. Asenso Boakye emphasized that, government will continue to prioritize road development.

“This project is a triumph of engineering and a symbol of a transformational vision and leadership that is guiding Ghana for progress and growth”.
