Ghanaian rapper, Nii Addo Quaynor better known by his stage name Tinny has described, reggae-dancehall musician Shatta Wale, as the ‘guy’ of the moment.

The two have been brothers years back and are both from the GA land. Last weekend, they were billed to performed together inside Bukom Square, in Accra, and they lived to high expectation. Shatta calls Tinny his Godfather and Tinny calls Wale his son.

“Shatta Wale is the guy of the moment, I can’t do a programme that he will not attend or perform live if he is available. This is a father and son affairs. Over the years we have built some bond and relationship between us. I can’t remember what I have done for him; If I do mention it, it would be like I’m blowing my own horns; he will be the best person to say it” Tinny made these comments in an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show.

Back in the day when Tinny was on top of his game, he was one of the few artists that gave Wale then Bandana one of his best hits by collaborating with him. The song ‘Moko hoo’ was one of the biggest hits by Bandana, and it featured the legendary Tinny.

Today Shatta is the biggest artiste in the country and using his clout to also show love to Tinny in these times. They have songs doing well, with a recent release ‘Life Be Time’ being one of the brilliantly-arranged track.

The BadMan Family boss is currently promoting his new single titled ”Kojo Besia”. This song by Aletse Kamkpe was produced by Phredexter.
