Somanya was left in grief when a six year old boy shot his four year old brother in the head.
ASP Isaac Otsin confirmed the unfortunate incident saying that the two boys were playing with the gun belonging to their 70 year old grandfather when it accidentally triggered into the head of the four year old killing him on the spot.
The deceased was found in a pool of blood when the tenants in the house rushed into the room upon hearing the gunshot.
The body has been deposited at the Atua Government Morgue by the police.
Investigations have been opened and the parents and grandfather have given their statements to the police.
The gun is said to be unlicensed.
