Ghana’s pride in the beverage and water industry, Twellium Industrial Company Limited, Ghana has received certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

Twellium Industrial Ghana got certified by the ISO by passing more than twenty thousand standards encompassing manufactured products and technology to food safety, agriculture and healthcare.

The use of the standards aid in the creation of products and services that are safe, reliable and of premium quality.

The company has also used these standards to help increase productivity by minimizing errors, waste and safeguarding consumers, ensuring that certified products conform to standards set internationally.

The HACCP certification on the other hand is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, physical and radiological hazards in production processes that can cause unfinished products to be unsafe and designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level.

This has led to the development in all stages of the company’s food chain, here, from food production and preparation processes including packaging and distribution.

Presenting the certifications to Twellium was a rep from the
world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, SGS, Okai Mensah who congratulated the company saying, “Twellium can now boast of being a member organization to have ascribed to the worldwide quality standards”.

The ISO and HACCP are an attestation that Twellium has an effective system in place and is committed to enhancing its systems and processes. As one of the few companies in Ghana to have achieved this height, it also reinforces their commitment to improve efficiencies in line with best standards and practices”.

Chief Marketing officer for Twellium, Ali Ajami receiving these certifications stated, “Seeing that safety is our main priority, the certifications from ISO and HACCP are here to ensure premium quality and international standards for our consumers while following the required mandatory HAACP programs as an effective approach to food safety and protecting public health”.

He also urged both cherished Ghanaian and international consumers of the brand to patronize more made in Ghana products in order to embrace domestication and support national policies aimed at protecting local industries.

ISO is an international standard-setting body that promotes worldwide proprietary, industrial and commercial standards.
