Ace Football administrator, Kofi Manu has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA), to use this break period rectify any mistakes in the FA statutes.

The outspoken football administrator seconded George Afriyie’s view that the GFA should use the break period to correct some mistakes in the FA statutes and regulations.

According to him, the football clubs were unable to access the statutes presented to them by the GFA Normalisation Committee at the last Congress held prior to the elections thus the current FA should set up a committee to undertake that job.

Speaking in an interview on Happy Sports with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy 98.9FM he said,

“Let’s take the opportunity of Covid-19 and amend the statutes. They should form a committee so they can go through the statutes. This will help the present administration so they can work peacefully”.

“We accepted the statutes of the NC because we wanted them to leave power. It’s almost getting to a year and still, we haven’t touched the statutes.

“I support the FA to do a better constitution that will be used to manage Ghana football”, he added.
