Ace rapper Michael Owusu also known as Sarkordie has said his recent nomination into the ‘Artiste of Decade’ category of the Vodafone Music Awards (VGMA) made him realised his music career spans more than a decade.
He made this assertion in an interview with Rev Erskine host of the ‘Myd Morning’ show on YFM.
“I still feel young and hungry for more and when I was nominated I realised how long I have been in the game and also with those great people also in the nomination list. When I was announced I realise how far my works has gone’’ he said.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie mentioned Ghanaian actor Agya koo as his favourite comedian.
He also appealed to the organizers of the Music Magic Comedy happening at the International Conference Centre (AICC) on June 29 to allow him perform first so that he can sit and enjoy the other performances.
‘’ I like magic and comedy but I don’t get the opportunity to enjoy such performances because I usually end the show. This time around let me be the first to perform so I can enjoy the show especially the magic’’ he appealed.
However, Sarkodie is the headline artiste for MMC Live 2019.
Other performers mounting the stage include Wendy Shay, Foster Romanus, Acapella, OB Ampibsah and Christopher Voncujovi, who promises to demonstrate startling magical acts.
MMC LIVE is a superstar entertainment show organised by Global Media Alliance that features renowned performers in music, magic and comedy on one stage. The show which is in its fourth edition is slated for Saturday 29th of June, 2019 at Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
