President Akufo-Addo has asked Ghanaians to be thankful and moderate in their celebrations during this Christmas.
In a televised Christmas message to Ghanaians, Nana Akufo Addo said “we have good reasons to be thankful to God for the modest successes we chalked over the course of 2019”.
According to the president, his government has “revived our healthcare system; we’ve had bumper harvest of foodstuff for two years in succession with food prices at their lowest in years.”
He however advised Ghanaians that as they celebrate these various activities in this Christmas, they should ensure they do not put their lives or lives of others at risk or do anything to destabilise the peace and tranquility within the community.
