Former Black Stars player, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu says he will not play at the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar when given the chance.

According to the Former Ghana midfielder, he is been home for long and will not be fit to play.

Speaking at the maiden edition of the eSports Summit, the former U-20 World Cup winner revealed that he joined the Ghana league to help the talented players and also make the Ghanaian top flight league exciting and competitive.

Last month, Agyemang Badu says former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan can never be ready for the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

The Ghana all-time top scorer told the BBC in an interview he wants to be in the Black Stars squad that will take part in the tournament in November this year.

Agyemang Badu, who featured for Ghana with Asamoah Gyan at the 2010 World Cup, doubts he can be fit for the tournament with individual training.

“From my side, I don’t think [Asamoah] Gyan will be ready [for the World Cup].”
