Sarkodie throws in another advice to upcoming artistes

Sarkodie

If you could remember in the month of August 2018, some social media users blasted Sarkodie for promoting Mr P’s (a member of defunct music group P-Square fame) single titled ‘Wokie Wokie’ on his Instagram page rather than supporting his Ghanaian colleagues.

Those who chastised Sarkodie then did that as a result of the hostile treatment some top Ghanaian artistes including Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy received in Nigeria during the launch of Zylofon Media and Menzgold.

But Peter of defunct P-Square music group reacting to how section of Ghanaians treated Sarkodie for promoting his song posited that what they did to him wasn’t fair but like Jesus Christ, all Ghanaians can’t love the SarkCess Music CEO.

“We still have people who don’t like you no matter what, even Almighty Jesus Christ was crucified,” he revealed.

He went on to reveal that Sarkodie is the most humble Ghanaian artist he has come across so he can’t understand why he should be attacked for promoting the works of an expatriate colleague.

“This is Africa and you can’t just say because he put up my music, people are sad that he is not doing that for his fellow people, Sarkodie is one of the most humble musicians I have met in Ghana”, he told Joy FM’s Doreen Avio.
