VIDEO: Mahama’s ‘daughter’ twerks to celebrate his flagbearership victory

Kumawood actress, Tracey Boakye who describes herself as the daughter of Former President Mahama has celebrated the massive victory of Mr Mahama.

In a video shared by her, Tracy was seen twerking to Nigerian singer, Teni’s song title ‘Case’ after election results of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries were declared.

Tracy who owns Shortcode lounge and bar captioned the video: “Im still waiting for the results ???????????? Congratulations in advance Papa #JDM … ive promised one hour free drinks for all my workers when the final results is out… I’ve started mine already..”

Mr Mahama at the end of the NDC’s primaries on Saturday secured an overwhelming 213,487 votes representing 95.23 percent of the total valid votes cast with the other six contenders managing with about 4 percent.

Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Prof. Joshua Alabi came second with 3,399 votes representing 1.516 per cent while Second Deputy Speaker and Member of Parliament for Nadowli/Kaleo, Mr Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin, came third with 2,313 votes representing 1.032 per cent.

Mr Goosie Tanoh, a stalwart of the NDC, came fourth with 2,038 votes representing 0.909%.

Former Trades and Industry Minister in the Mahama government, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah came fifth with 1,457 votes which represent 0.650 per cent of the total votes.

Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Mr Sylvester Mensah got 932 votes representing 0.415 per cent while businessman Nurudeen Iddrisu polled a paltry 519 votes representing 0.231 per cent.
