Vodafone partners Coca-Cola to reward customers

Vodafone Ghana has partnered Coca- Cola’s National consumer promotion to reward customers with free 100MB data. The promotion, dubbed, “Under the Crown’ is in line with the Coke Studio Africa 2017 campaign.
The promotion rewards consumers who buy Coca-Cola with the special yellow crown cork. To receive the free 100MB data, Vodafone consumers must first look under the crown cork for a code, dial *781# and follow the prompts to redeem the rewards. The rewards include exclusive content in the form of Caller Ring Back Tones, wallpapers of consumers’ favourite Coke Studio Africa artistes and music playlists.
Commenting on the initiative, Agnes Emefa Essah, Sales and Marketing Director at Vodafone Ghana said:
“We are rewarding our customers, promoting authentic African music and celebrating creativity in the arts. Our partnership with Coca-Cola is a huge stroke of inspiration that will bring many benefits to our customers and we are extremely excited. The free data bundle is only available for our customers as a special treat.”
This partnership is anchored on music as a point of convergence for both companies. Vodafone’s contribution to the Ghanaian music industry cannot be over emphasized. The telecommunications giant, has delivered matchless music and entertainment experiences to Ghanaians since 2011 by creating a number of innovative music platforms including Vodafone Icons and the Ghana Music Awards.
Coca-Cola, through its flagship musical show, Coke Studio Africa 2017 which airs on TV3, is a melting pot of music talent bringing together renowned music producers and top-notch artists drawn from various parts of the continent.
