Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team has secured qualification for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo following a strong performance at the World Relays in Guangzhou.
The team finished second in the second qualifying round with a time of 38.32 seconds—narrowly missing out on first place but earning their ticket to the global event. The achievement marks a significant milestone for Ghanaian athletes and underscores the team’s dedication and competitive spirit.
The relay squad—Barnabas Aggerh, Joseph Paul Amoah, Mustapha Bokpin, and Ibrahim Fuseini—displayed remarkable teamwork and speed throughout the race.
