The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has announced plans to retire from Parliament soon, revealing he’s intentionally grooming students in the constituency to succeed him.
“We are producing future MPs who will take over from me soon,” Ablakwa stated, highlighting his focus on education and leadership development. Through his scholarship scheme, over 1,000 students have benefited, with infrastructure projects like smart classrooms and dormitories boosting educational outcomes.
A standout beneficiary graduated with a first-class degree in aeronautical engineering and is now pursuing a master’s in the US. Ablakwa urged students to stay focused and use funds for academic purposes, ensuring North Tongu’s future is in capable hands.
